The pandemic has hit children hard.

Self harm has doubled from six years ago. Ten children are visiting hospital every day with self harm injuries. Eating disorders have also increased fourfold in children since last year.  The Wave Project helps vulnerable children by offering them free, therapeutic support through evidence based surf therapy. Our award-winning surfing courses have been peer reviewed and proven to help children improve their mental health and wellbeing.

As with all charities, we need funding and support to make this happen. By becoming a member, you will help deliver free surf therapy support to children across the UK facing challenges such as anxiety, isolation and trauma.  Our members are a community of people who make a small monthly donation from as little as £3, who together help to fund the work of the Wave Project throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
