Hays Travel Supports Surf Therapy on the Isle of Wight
We are thrilled to announce that we have received a grant that will directly support our Surf Therapy courses on the Isle of Wight in 2025 from Hays Travel.
Last year alone, we provided support to 80 young people through Surf Therapy, made 330 session spaces available at our Surf Club, and delivered 10 Adaptive Surfing sessions for young people with physical disabilities at our Isle of Wight hub. These sessions build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging for young people who need it most.
While we are immensely grateful for this funding, it is important to highlight the challenges of fundraising on the Isle of Wight. Despite its beauty, the island’s smaller community and remote location make securing funding a real struggle. Every contribution – big or small – plays a crucial role in ensuring we can continue to deliver life-changing support to local young people.
