Charity Challenge 2024

We are excited to launch our Wave Project Charity Challenges for 2024!

This year we are inviting our supporters to join Team Wave Project on exciting trips in 2024 and help us to reach even more children and young people through surf therapy.

Sign up as an individual, with friends, family, or colleagues – for a once in a lifetime experience with a group of like-minded adventurers all with the same aim – of helping us reach more children at a time which is going to be devastating for children’s mental health.

Join Team Wave Project and you will receive:

  • Resources to help you with your fundraising including posters, stickers, collection buckets, access to tap to donate machines and a fundraising t-shirt
  • Access to our Team Wave Project Facebook group to share tips, stories and photos with the rest of your team
  • A special Team Wave Project t-shirt for on the challenge itself
  • Fundraising Advice and Support to help you reach your target

We’ll be there to support you every step of the way….

Best of all – by taking part in a challenge and raising money for The Wave Project – you will be helping children as young as 8 suffering with their mental health to get the help they need

Kilimanjaro trek  (26th Dec 2024 to 4th Jan 2025)

Kickstart your year with the ultimate trekking adventure, and join us as we summit Kilimanjaro!

One of the Seven Summits and the highest freestanding mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro is on many adventurers’ bucket lists. You can now make your challenge of a lifetime even more memorable by reaching the summit on January 1st – what better way to celebrate the New Year!

Our trek will take us through dense tropical rainforest, moorland and scree on our way to Uhuru Peak, the highest point. Reaching the summit on New Year’s Day, we’ll feel a sense of overwhelming achievement – a truly unforgettable challenge with exceptional support and encouragement.

We follow the Machame Route, approaching Kilimanjaro from the south – with our exceptional support and care combined with highly trained leaders and medics, we will achieve and conquer the toughest of treks together as one!
