These were the words shared by a parent after attending an Adaptive Surfing session with their child, who has cerebral palsy. What followed was a reflection that beautifully captures why inclusive surfing matters so much.
“The staff and volunteers were incredible. Never have I ever met such a compassionate, fun and supportive bunch of people who clearly have a massive passion for what they do. They made everyone laugh, joked around with the kids, and you could see they truly cared about the children and their experience. It was incredibly moving to watch.”
