Jimmy’s Iced Coffee raise over £20,000 for Dorset Wave Project.
He’s a well-known face around Dorset and one of the most successful young entrepreneurs – but Jim Cregan and his team at Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, haven’t let success go to their heads.
The Christchurch-based company have, to date, raised more than £21,300 for The Wave Project, a charity close to Jim’s heart. A photo exhibition was held at Jimmy’s HQ earlier this month that contributed another four figures to the project and included a silent auction with members of the public pitting their wallets and purses against one another; it was a great success with every photo landing a new home.
Dorset-based drone photographer, Arran Witheford, provided the photography of local beaches and terrain for the event.
Jim added: “I used to be a volunteer for The Wave Project guys and I fell in love with what they do so it was a great feeling to get involved. It’s a charity that’s super close to my heart as I know first-hand the amazing benefits of surfing, whether it’s just time spent on the water, or catching your first green wave. We believe young people need guidance and can transform their lives through surfing so we will be supporting throughout the year to continue their great work.”
