London Marathon Success
It’s been another successful London Marathon for our charity fundraisers. This year we had two runners taking on the marathon challenge in aid of our charity and in this blog post we wanted to celebrate their achievements and give you all the chance to support the efforts for one last time.
First up we had Cornwall based Beth Chapman sharing her thoughts on how it went.
“It was very tough but awesome at the same time. Remembering all the support and messages from so many people kept me going and knowing that it is all going to such a great cause”.
Next up we have North Devon’s Darren Burrett.
“A Massive thanks to everyone that supported The Wave Project and me. All done after a hot and sweaty 4 and a half hour!”
“The Wave Project is a charity that has had amazing results transforming the lives of vulnerable young people through surfing. I have personally witnessed dozens of kids with a range of difficult challenges improve their well-being and confidence.”
We couldn’t be prouder of our fundraisers and what a challenge to take on. Our individual fundraisers are extremely important to us, so from everyone here at The Wave Project we want to say a huge thank you to all that have fundraised for us in the past and to those of you who wish to fundraise in the future, get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
