Welcome to The Wave Project North East! The Wave Project was first set up in Tynemouth in 2020, after a successful pilot scheme.

Surfing therapy is now firmly established in Tynemouth and we run 6 week courses in the spring and autumn from both Tynemouth Surf Co and Longsands Surf School. During the warmer months, we also run a fortnightly surf club for young people who have completed a 6 week surfing therapy course.
