Our Surf to Work programme supports young adults aged 16 to 24 who are in receipt of Universal Credit. The programme is delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.

The four-week course offers participants two sessions per week. Our trained surf instructors deliver the sessions at the beach and in the sea, using surfing to support young people to build resilience and self-esteem, getting them work-fit and ready to take on their next challenge.

Participants also benefit from individual mentoring and team building activities, as well as specific support around managing anxiety and stressful situations.

Surf to Work is currently delivered with partner Job Centres in Cornwall and Devon.
