The Ludy Challenge

North Devon volunteer training

Wave Project North Devon will be running a volunteer training session on Saturday 2 March at Croyde. We’ll start off in the waves, focusing on sea safety, and best practices on how to help young people into waves, plus a refresher on essential skills such as smiling and high fives :) After the sea-based activities we’ll be discussing issues around safeguarding and disclosure. Pub quiz at the King’s Arms

Thaw out your brain at the next Wave Project Pub Quiz, taking place on Thursday 7th March at the King's Arms in Georgeham. The entry fee is £3 per person and teams of up to six people can enter, with all proceeds going to the Wave Project. Booking is advisable, or you can turn up on the night. It kicks off at 7.30pm. Peter Forbes, sailing

Sailing Around the World – a talk by Peter Forbes

Join us at Croyde Village Hall on 23 March at 7.30pm to hear how Peter’s childhood love of sailing led to the adventure of a lifetime. All proceeds from the evening will go to the Wave Project, which helps young people to develop their own lifelong passion for the sea through surf therapy sessions. Holiofest 2019

Holiofest is a one-day rock and metal festival in support of mental health charities in loving memory of Tom Holio. This years’ charity, in receipt of all proceeds, is the Wave Project. The Summer Surf Challenge

The Summer Surf Challenge is a weekend of adaptive surfing welcome to all ages and those with disabilities. Specially trained surf instructors, adaptive equipment and teams of volunteers are available to support participants as they ride their first waves into shore! A fun weekend for all the family!

The Wave Project's annual awards celebrates the achievements of the young people and supporters who have participated in surf therapy through the year.
