Wavelength Magazine x The Wave Project in support of Surf Therapy
We’re beyond excited to be teaming up with the brilliant crew at Wavelength Surf Magazine to bring the power of Surf Therapy to even more young people across the UK.

Through our sessions, young people facing challenges with their mental health can experience the freedom and calm of the ocean and other blue spaces. Taking part in Surf Therapy helps them build confidence, reduce anxiety and feel more connected – to themselves, to others and nature.
Since taking over the magazine last year, the team at Wavelength has made it a priority to support local organisations making a difference in their communities. Some of the Wavelength team have even spent time volunteering at their local The Wave Project hub.
For every new subscription to Wavelength magazine, £3 will go towards helping us deliver more Surf Therapy sessions for children and young people.
Chris Thomson, owner of Wavelength, shared: “The Wave Project does such important work. We’re stoked to support their operation and are happy to give back to an organisation that makes such an incredible difference. The ocean should be available for anyone, and the therapeutic nature of getting in the sea has long been documented. We believe in blue health and are happy to help contribute to The Wave Project.”
Joy Corcec, Marketing Manager at The Wave Project, added: “We’re so excited to be collaborating with Wavelength. For every new magazine subscription, £3 will go directly towards funding Surf Therapy programmes across the UK, helping even more young people build confidence, reduce anxiety and feel more connected. We’re so grateful for the team’s continued backing, and it’s amazing to combine our reach to engage new audiences with our shared love of the sea.”
